In many communities, there are limitations on the work an unlicensed person may do… even the owner of the home. There are also differences made between what an unlicensed homeowner can do and what an unqualified tradesman can do.

Bad wiring techniques can cause shock hazards that may not be obvious until the accident happens.

That is why there is an electrical code, so everybody is clear on the right and wrong path to perform an electrical wiring and installation. If every home was wired according to a random standard, how could anyone without paranormal abilities clarify how to troubleshoot a circuit?
We are not going to prevent you from educating and enriching your skills. We wouldn’t have little chance of doing it, anycase. But you should know by now that we are a strong advocate of independence and self-reliance. But if one person destroyed his house down because he was thinking that he could do that electrical job, and was not sufficiently OK to do the job|task right… well, that is not what we had in mind when started this energoproject. We have seen some electrical wiring disasters throughout Russia, and major share|most were undertaken by homeowners who thought that performing electrical wiring|work was no more worthy of care than sweeping the backyard!
